MARCH 2020 COMMUNITY FUND RECIPIENTS
EKSC Community Fund recently made donations to three local organisations to help with their valued work in supporting vulnerable groups during the Coronavirus outbreak.
EK Community Food Bank
A £250 donation was made to EK Community Food Bank, a short-term care initiative helping families facing financial difficulty in East Kilbride. Run by a network of local churches, the food bank provides love and care to people struggling to make ends meet.

Loaves & Fishes Food Bank
Established in East Kilbride for over 20 years, Loaves & Fishes is run by volunteers and provides food parcels, toiletries and sit down meals to those in need. A £250 donation was made to the charity which depends entirely on donations and goodwill to help people in need in our local community.
A £500 donation was made to Share Alike, a small community organisation which aims to alleviate poverty, loneliness and waste. Run entirely by volunteers, Share Alike encourages sharing and caring by collecting surplus food and donations and distributing them to people in need via their various services.
