EK's Specsavers store recently marked 30 years of caring for the town’s eye health with a day of 1980s themed fun and celebration for customers.
Store director Shirley-Ann Kennedy and the team invited customers along to a party day at the store on Saturday 21 September, which turned back the clock to the store’s introduction to the town back in 1989 with face painting, party bags, cake and a retro photo booth.
The store also raised money throughout the day for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, as well as invited a hearing dog in store to meet with party-goers.
People also joined staff in the festivities with 80s fancy dress and classic tracks from the iconic decade played in store throughout the day.
Store director, Shirley-Ann Kennedy, said: ‘We’d like to thank everyone, not only for joining us for our birthday celebrations but for 30 years of support’
